The interesting angle of a nose. The beautiful slant of light through the trees. Horses, birds, dogs, just about any creature on earth (with the possible exception of the Hyena) furnish inspiration to paint. The challenge is to capture, yet interpret, to please or provoke, always to elicit a thoughtful response.
